Smoked Queso Recipe

This smoky cheesy dip is simple to make and is easy to get creative with. It is a great way to kick off any bbq.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 350 degrees (use Hickory or any other type of mild wood).
  2. Cook ground beef on stove top.
  3. Chop up Velveeta and Smoked Gouda into medium sized cubes
  4. Add all ingredients to aluminum pan.
  5. Toss in 2 tablespoons of your favorite rub. I used Pit Boss Sweet Rib Rub.
  6. Put pan on smoker stirring every half hour or so until all the cheese has melted
  7. Serve and enjoy!
