ABOUT DAVE

My name is Dave Wade and I live in Holden, Maine with my wife, Lura, and my 2 kids, Connor and Alison.

During the week, I keep busy with my job as a software developer and all the repsonsibilities that go along with having children who have their own passions. My daughter, Alison, loves to dance and my son, Connor, loves to play just about every sport under the sun, especially hockey.

On weekends, I get to indulge in one of my favorite activities…BBQing!

Nothing beats throwing something on the grill or smoker, enjoying a cold beer, and getting together with friends or family on the weekend. That is my idea of the perfect way to spend a weekend.

I have been grilling for quite a while. Over the years, I have tried (and sometimes failed)to cook a ton of different recipes. Along the way, I have learned quite a bit. My goal for this blog is to try to share some of my favorite recipes that I have used and also impart some things I have learned through my experiences to help pave the way on your BBQ journey.
