Grill Masters Club (June) Review

Looking for the perfect gift for your favorite BBQ enthusiast? Getting bored of the same old recipes or want to try out new BBQ products every month? In this post, I will be reviewing the June Box I received for the Grill Masters Club, which is a monthly subscription that includes a variety of grilling and smoking related items every month for you to try out.

Let me first say that this post is not sponsored in any way by Grill Masters Club so know that the information I am sharing is absolutely my unbiased opinion.

My wife got me a 3 month subscription to this as a gift for Father’s Day and I had not really heard of monthly subscription boxes geared towards BBQ / Smoking enthusiasts. First off, I was really excited that something like this even existed because half the fun of grilling / smoking for me is getting to try out different recipes and techniques and that’s what this kit is all about. When I initially got my first box, I was a little disappointed. The horseradish jar that came in the kit was cracked and leaking slightly so that was not the best first impression. I will, however, say that opinion changed VERY quickly and their customer support was great. We contacted them about the issue and they were really responsive, saying that they would ship out a replacement. I thought that they were only going to send me a replacement horseradish but they actually sent me a whole new kit so I was really pleased with how they handled the situation.

The kit I received came with five different products and a recipe. The recipe included with the box only required the rub and the hot horseradish that came with the kit. In addition to these items, there was also a BBQ sauce and some wood chips for me to try out with other recipes. I think I was most excited about the hot horseradish. I have been on a hot honey kick lately so I was interested to try the flavor of this out.

I obviously can’t go over the recipe in detail like I normally do because this is part of their product but I can say it was a flank steak recipe and I really enjoyed the finished product. It had a ton of flavor and was very tender

Besides the kit you get on a monthly basis, I have been receiving emails from them on a weekly basis. These emails have included a new recipe to try, a feature on a award winning pitmaster that included a link to a video of the pitmaster going over a recipe they used, and a special offer on some bbq related items. I have not been bombarded with sales offers and I have enjoyed the content I have received as it has given me some inspiration for new ideas on recipes to try.

So far, I have really enjoyed the kit and would highly reccomend it to anyone looking for some new ideas to try on the grill or as a unique gift idea. If you are interested, I have included a link:
